This tripod weighs 10 lbs and has heavy-duty extension legs with hardened steel tripod shoe points making this an outstanding value. This tripod uses a standard 5/8" x 11 thread which is compatible with most lasers, auto levels, and transits sold today. The tripod is 100% anodized aluminum and utilizes positive quick clamp locking mechanisms which allow for easy height adjustments and keep the legs firmly locked in place even in high vibration environments.
